Insurance and Ethics

Participants will be led through different insurance scenarios and ethical situations to determine why ethics are necessary in our society.  We have laws to protect people’s rights.  We have religious beliefs to guide our actions.  If the laws are enforced and the beliefs followed, why do we need further rules?

If the insurance agent or broker’s client (whether it is the insurance company or the insured) asks the agent or broker to do something that the agent or broker knows is unethical, do they “do the right thing?”
