Employment Practices vs. Employee Benefits vs. Employment Liability Issues
May 12, 2021 • 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Instructor:  Mishell K, Magnusson, CIC, CISR, CPIA, AAI, FIPC

Employee Benefit Specialists (Life, Accident & Health Insurance Agents/Brokers), as well as Property Casualty Specialists (Agent/Broker), have involvement in their client's Employment Practices Issues; Employee Benefits Issues as well as Employers Liability Issues.

Each topic is defined and then broken down by the type of exposure that all commercial clients face and how these exposures can be eliminated or covered by insurance or other risk management techniques.  In addition, the three topics are brought together at the end to see how they are interrelated to include a brief discussion on workers' compensation and disability benefits.

This seminar is intended for both the Life, Accident & Health Agent/Broker and the Property/Casualty Agent/Broker as each has the need for an understanding of these exposures and insurance coverages.
