Cyber and Privacy

PIA and U.S. Risk Brokers, Inc. are pleased to announce an exclusive Cyber & Privacy Insurance program for PIA Members.  This new product is being offered by Capitol Specialty Insurance Corp. (Rated "A" by A.M. Best) on their newly created CPR "Premier" Policy.  

TDI approved CE classes, at regional meetings and on-line.  Members can even receive CE credits for attending the annual convention.  Download TDI Association CE Form and follow the instructions.

Annual Convention & Trade Show
Continuing Education classes, Seminars on agency management & increasing business, internet and social media marketing, work and fun. Members earn up to 4 hours of Association CE.

Flood Insurance Through the Hartford
Since 2004, PIA and The Hartford have joined together to provide PIA member agents the opportunity to offer your customers flood insurance through The Hartford, a WYO company. The program is available to PIA members and their policyholders in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. PIA members earn great commissions on flood insurance sales with The Hartford and, if they want, a flood insurance processing center that does most of the heavy lifting for them.

Agency Revenue Tools
In cooperation with Agency Revenue Tools, LLC, PIA has initiated its “Take Back Personal Lines” campaign to enable agents to effectively and efficiently counteract the mass marketing/mass advertising approach to Personal Lines being taken by the direct writing carriers.  Agency Revenue Tools (ART) is a proven method for agencies to profitably engage in employee worksite marketing using their appointed markets at regular commission rates. Agencies across America are using the ART method and its accompanying software to sell personal lines P&C coverage to insureds utilizing payroll deduction billing.

PIA Branding Program
Through the PIA Branding Program, PIA provides a growing collection of advertising and marketing support materials to PIA members. This includes print and radio advertisements, in both English and Spanish. PIA also publishes the annual Agency Marketing Guide to assist members in planning their marketing efforts. PIA provides these items at no cost to its members.

Each summer PIA publishes the PIA Agency Marketing Guide. This annual publication helps PIA members stay ahead of the curve when it comes to marketing their services in the modern insurance marketplace.

DocIT for Agents - A Traffic Violation Reporting Tool
PIA members across America are discovering the many advantages of using DocIT for Agents, one of PIA’s newest member-only services. Using DocIT for Agents’ driver violation information, PIA members can help applicants for auto insurance policies recall their motor vehicle violations early in the quoting process, find undisclosed drivers in a household, and better place drivers with the right auto insurance carrier earlier in the quoting process.

In representing multi-carriers, it is very important to PIA agencies that the industry adopts common standards and procedures that share common meanings, practices and protocols. Founded in 1996 with start-up funding from PIA National, the companies participating in The PIA Partnership are committed to working with the American Agency System to increase market share by improving the dialogue between agencies and companies.
